    Product Features and Applications

    711 Hydrogenation Desulfurization Catalyst is a hydrogenation desulfurization catalyst featuring γ-Al₂O₃ produced by the carbonization method as the carrier and cobalt-molybdenum as the active components. This catalyst exhibits characteristics such as low bulk density, large pore volume and specific surface area, uniform distribution of active components, high hydrogenation desulfurization activity, high olefin saturation activity, and excellent activity stability. It is suitable for hydrogenation refining of feedstocks in gasification processes producing ammonia synthesis gas, hydrogen, and methanol synthesis gas from gaseous hydrocarbons. It is also applicable for hydrogen desulfurization of light petroleum products and hydrogen refining of refinery reforming feedstocks. The chemical reactions for hydrogen desulfurization are as follows: RS + H₂ → RH + H₂ SR₁ = R₂ + H₂ → R₁H - R₂H = H₂S

    Transportation and Storage

    Hydrodesulfurization catalysts are packaged in rigid cardboard drums lined with plastic bags (or packaged according to customer requirements). During transportation, precautions must be taken to prevent moisture exposure and avoid violent shaking such as rolling or impact. Rain protection must be provided during transit. Catalysts should be stored in dry, well-ventilated warehouses, strictly guarding against contamination and moisture absorption.
